... some days, the words just aren't there. Today is one of those days for me... it's been one of those days for several days.
Confession? Today’s post is a hurry-up job that I’m only
starting at 6:59 this morning, when normally, I’ve got my WW blog ready to go a
few days in advance. I’d like to be clever or funny or wise, but I don’t think
that’s going to happen this time. Honestly, the words simply aren’t here right
now. Wranglers, it’s been a tough few days, full of raw and creativity-draining
emotions. I’ve been smacked in the face with my sister’s death and frankly, I’m
having a tough time with it.
So today, you get Grandboy at his three-year-old
silliest. Son has been dying to see the kid with a mustache since he was born
(facial hair is thing in our family--it's a long story that's just as silly as this picture) and so, Saturday, at the zoo, he let a face
painter do the job for him. How is it that, even looking pretty darn silly, this
kid is still adorable?
Enjoy… and I promise to be back in full form again next
Tuesday…
Cam definitely looks good there. I've never seen Jim curl his mustache like that...
ReplyDeleteI've been begging him to do it, Liz! ;-)
DeleteLove the mustache and the eyebrows! Sending good thoughts your way today!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carolyn--he thought he was pretty funny! for the good thoughts!
DeleteHe is adorable. And take it easy on yourself. Life can be hard sometimes and so can writing.
ReplyDeleteLove the grandboy and 'stache! Too cute. And the words will come back--probably in a flood when you aren't looking.
