Bust A Move!

When I was in High school,I couldn't dance. I got better after I joined the military. I was stationed in the Korea and frankly, after work hours, there was nothing better to do than go to the clubs and dance the night away. Dancing became my fovortie past time, even after my military years were over. Nowadays, I don't dance much anymore. I don't even know if I can. I guess just like anything else, if you don't use it, you lose it.

Writing is like my experience with dance. When I started, I didn't know what I was doing. It took, patience, practice, and cp's who aren't afraid to tell me when I'm doing something that doesn't work.

Now I make sure I write something every day. I never want to lose what I've learned.

As far as dancing goes, maybe I'll get back to it someday. Who knows? Maybe I can still bust a move!

  1. I have absolutely no rhythm, Shawn. Although I'd like to believe I'm a decent dancer!

NO moves, no nothing. I've tried to shake my butt like Beyonce and all I get is a lot of swiveling! You won't forget what youv'e learned about writinb bc you have us, and you use it all the time.

    Good post!

  3. Hey, girls. I've seen some moves on the dance floor lately that resembles what most people do behind closed doors. D'Ann, a littlle swiveling goes a looong way. Go ahead and shake what your mamma (or daddy) gave ya!

  4. I'm the worst dancer in the world, but in my single days, it didn't slow me down. Think it would now, though.

The roommate and I danced at a nephew's wedding a few years ago. It was fun--and romantic--but we haven't done it again.

BTW, I love your cover, Shawn!
