Twice Blessed

On June 4th, my debut book, Wild Horses, was released. It was more than a dream come true. It was 20 years of blood, sweat and tears. Yeah, I know, a cliche', but still true nevertheless. This book released in e-book format. Crimson started with that format with the plan to have PODs down the road.

My husband got me a Kindle for my birthday in July, and it was an unbelievable thrill to see my book on it. My book! I don't think I'll ever get tired of saying those two words! My book! My publisher! My editor! My title! My cover! My name!

Just when I thought things couldn't get any better, I got an email tonight from Crimson editor, Jennifer Lawler, that they are going to release our books in POD. That means those who crave a book to hold in their hot little hands can get one!
Yesterday, August 20, my second Crimson title was released. I feel like I died and went to Heaven. Yeah, I know, another cliche'. It's a feeling I can't describe to have my books being bought by readers. Read by people I don't know, along with a lot I do. To have achieved a dream, not once, but twice, is --I refuse to say amazing because that word is way overused-- but it is something else. To have hit the sophomore class is more than I ever dreamed. I am definitely twice blessed.
