I usually come in on the short side and have to plump it up, although Bix's story is going for the long side, so maybe it just depends on the story.Margiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03843006118151762550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-133132309124375119.post-39794425203872238512011-01-03T20:49:46.456-05:002011-01-03T20:49:46.456-05:00I'm like Shawn--I write short. I was tickled when Harlequin shortened up their series books, but I think they're lengthening them again.Liz Flahertyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06794565644883272260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-133132309124375119.post-13737338618217431972011-01-03T19:19:59.920-05:002011-01-03T19:19:59.920-05:00I usually find I run out of things to say. I know the chance of my catching the interest of an agent with my Baby Huey is slim so I'm currently "unwriting" my story, paring it down to size. Down to a little over 111,000 and still cutting.Linda Leszczukhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15117080878321152684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-133132309124375119.post-51675550265683043762011-01-03T14:41:49.572-05:002011-01-03T14:41:49.572-05:00Wordcount is one of my biggest worries, esp since ...Wordcount is one of my biggest worries, esp since I write catas. Are my characters being superficial because I only have X-number of pages alloted for this scene...the list goes on.Kristinahttp://www.kristinaknightauthor.com/blognoreply@blogger.com
