Okay, it's contagious! I sat in front of a blank screen to blog and my mind went blank. Then I started daydreaming about crazy things. What would happen if I wrote a book about the travels of a dollar bill. The people who owned it, how it got passed around. What if a 15 year old girl got it as part of her birthday present and spent it, then the man she would some day marry got it as change in the department store. A full circle romance. Then I remembered that was done in a movie. Serendipity.
What if I had superpowers? Any one I wanted. What would it be? Would you believe I couldn't choose one? I kept swinging back and forth from invincible bad-ass working undercover as a super-model fighting for the good guys, to all knowing powerful being who somehow ended up on the Starship Enterprise. Okay, so I think Worf is sexy. The ultimate alpha male. (Er, maybe I need therapy.) I added the pic of him without makeup so you wouldn't think I was totally bonkers.
Come on everyone. Give your weird random thoughts! Anything goes. Besides, who am I to judge?
I'm with you about Worf. Yes.
ReplyDeleteRandomly, I love to sew, and I love holiday fabric, but by the time I'm in the mood to sew with it, the holidays are about over. Is that what's known as a conundrum?
I wish I could sew. A button is about as far as my expertise goes.
DeleteLove Worf and you're right, he's the epitome of the alpha-male.
ReplyDeleteMy random obsession lately has been the tv show Revolution. Does anyone who reads this blog, watch this show? I so want to love it. I really, really do. It's got the best premise and is somewhat of a dystopian--my fave category.
BUT--why don't they have bikes? Bikes aren't mechanical and they could generate power--it's a no brainer to me. And why is every other group they come upon such sadists? Is that really where humankind would go in such an event?
And why is every episode a battle? The four main characters come across one group or another only to battle it out and continue on their way. IN every flipping episode.
I still watch it,though, hoping that I will finally fall in love.
Watched it once, Margie and lost interest.
DeleteI watch it when I can. And I agree, although I'd ride horses!
ReplyDeleteOh, I understand there are horses, but why don't other people have bikes? You know like in the villages or something ;) I bet the Japanese are still technological ahead of us because they're using bikes to power their computers :)
DeleteI love Worf, too. I had a wild crush on him when I was a Trekkie teenager. I married my own version of him. LOL! Beefy, dark, brooding... Sigh. Except, if I were a Star Trek character that got to marry Worf, I'd be strong enough to tell him to go wrestle with a holodeck monster and be sweet to me. And no eating blood worms!(Well, he could if he wanted to, but I'd stick to things dead.) He'd have to meet me halfway. ;)
ReplyDeleteLol, Patty! I got a crush when his hair grew and his teeth started looking better. As for eating anything gross, he'd have to brush his teeth and gargle before kissing me!
