Yesterday, Liz said it was Good News Week here on the Wranglers. Not only did I get to quit my retail job of six years to write full time, (yay!) it's my anniversary! Not my wedding anniversary. It's my author anniversary! One year ago today, my first book was published by Crimson Romance! That was a very special day because my road to publication was especially long. I wrote for TWENTY years before I got the email that said we want your book. I was ALWAYS the bridesmaid, not the bride. I guess being an older bride (author) makes it more special!
It's been a crazy year! Edits, galleys, book blogs, reviews! All new and fun and exciting.

As an extra-special anniversary gift, almost a year to the day, my fifth, Mississippi Blues, releases! Next Monday on June 10th! After Crimson bought Wild Horses, they also contracted five more books from me! Blues is very special to me. It's the book of my heart, and the one I wanted to see published more than any other. Isn't the cover pretty?
Happy anniversary! That's so wonderful and it's even better that Mississippi Blues is coming out so close to the anniversary date. I'm happy for you because you always said how much it meant to you. You deserve it, lady!

I've learned so much this year, and with my fifth book coming out in July (my anniversary month), I feel like an old pro at this publishing business.
