Happy Tuesday, everyone! This is a special Tuesday for me - it's the kickoff of a brand-spankin' new series that I was invited to be part of called Resort to Romance.
Last year, my good friend, Jill Kemerer, asked me to consider taking part in an indie anthology/continuity project. I was still reeling a little from the Superromance closure and working on a couple of new projects, but as soon as I heard the idea behind the series I knew I had to be part of it.
Jill and Jessica R Patch came up with the concept: throw a slew of ready-for-romance couples on a private Bahamian island, let a couple of eccentric older ladies matchmake for them, and take away their cell phones. Oh! And don't let them have sex (it's a rule that they have to agree to in their contract for Matchmaking Week! ha!!). I mean, how could I not get involved in the hijinks those rules (and a couple of ladies who are full of fire-and-vinegar, as my grandmother liked to say)?
So I said yes to the project, and a couple of characters started floating around in my head...and I started laughing with them (and at them, I mean there is a food fight, people!)...and I didn't want the book to end.
And today, the Resort to Romance series becomes real because the first book, Jill Kemerer's A Meddled Match, is on sale. The rest of the books will release each week for 10 weeks - my book, Moonlight Match, releases March 12, and I can't wait for y'all to read it. Here's a little bit about it:

Moonlight Match Blurb:
Aster Harrington believes in love, but love doesn't seem to believe in her. She's hoping Goldie and Ginny, the matchmakers who've matched two generations of Harringtons can work a little love magic for her...
Some
call Ethan Talbot rigid, but he prefers to think of himself as prepared.
Unfortunately, when he’s matched with Aster Harrington at Joy Island’s
Matchmaking Week, all those carefully prepared plans go out the window. He can
get back to finding a suitable wife once he’s home in New York. After all, how
much damage can one week in the Bahamas do to his carefully-made plans?
Resort to Romance
Ten delightful—and standalone—novellas linked by one matchmaking week.
You’ll want to devour each one!
It’s Matchmaking Week at an
all-inclusive resort on a private island in the Bahamas. Each guest has been
expertly paired and is here to enjoy one full week with their match. While
there’s no money-back guarantee on the paid trip, the participants are
guaranteed to find love!
Happy reading!
This series looks like a lot of fun. Can't wait to read your book and have you on my blog March 12 for a sneak peak!
