It's a new thing here in the corral. We won't be here with it every week, and some of the reviews won't be by us, but we're going to share our favorites--and maybe some of our not-so-favorites--on Book Review Wednesday. We hope you join us, offer up your own reviews, and maybe give an author you haven't read before a try.
The Fireman's Christmas Wish by Nan Reinhardt - As I say with every new story from Nan Reinhardt's wonderful River's Edge, this may be my favorite yet. Beck is, as others have said, a fabulous hero, and Harley is one of those people everyone needs in their lives. The story is funny and tender in turn. Christmas romance at its best.Review by Liz
Chances by Holly Jacobs - I've been a super-fan of Holly's for a long time,
especially since she's been writing her Hometown Hearts series. Years later, she's delving into pottery and mystery and being mentioned on Jeopardy! This is my favorite so far of her family-based stories, and since I like them all, that's saying something. If you need to read something that offers hope, inspiration, and yes-you-can, give Chances...er...a chance. And then read the rest of Holly's backlist.
