All Good Things Come to an End

Unfortunately, for us as readers as well as writers, a book series must have it's end. It's last hurrah!
For writer pal Jillian Jacobs, the final book in her O-Line Series is "Erik's End," which will be released at the end of October. But she has her awesome cover already, and I love it!

So I'm sharing it here.

I won't give anything away, but I read a rough draft and it's a great story! First of all, Jillian does such a good job writing bad people, and "Erik's End" has some baaaaad, skeevy characters, not the least of which is cold-heart mafia dude slash sexy redeemable hero Erik. Maybe because I've recently seen the movie "John Wick" (who knew Ted from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure would grow up to be so badass?), so much of "Erik's End" made me think of it. Except for the fact that no one kills anyone's dog in Jillian's book. And her bad guys are so much worse (hoohoo, I just got chills!).

Take a gander at her blurb, and mark your calendars for the October 24th release date! And visit her website www.jillianjacobs.com for the first four books in her O-Line series.

Kidnapped as a child and raised within an Ohio-based Russian mafia post, Erik Pavel has been honed to a razor’s edge—ruthless and deadly. Yet, at age fifteen, the head of his brigade deems Erik weak and murders his surrogate mother, fueling him to live for only one thing—revenge. Now closer than ever to the vengeance he seeks, Erik will allow no one to stand in his way.

Nicki Nobles fought her way out of a life where survival was key. Now strong and independent, she refuses to let her past dictate her future.

After Nicki helps him gather information on his nemesis, Erik is forced to work with her again. Fearing for her safety while fighting an attraction to her, Erik would prefer to keep Nicki out of his life.

Seeing so much of herself in the broken man, Nicki agrees to Erik’s plan only to discover she’s falling for someone who will never believe she can be more than her past.

As Erik’s plan unfolds, he must learn to rely on Nicki and realize that families aren’t always bound by blood and that trusting another doesn’t make you weak.
