Getting to Know Nan - by Janie DeVos

I first “met” Nan Reinhardt when I was writing for Kensington Publishing.  As a freelance editor, Nan worked on one of my novels, and, usually, that would have been that, however, life has a funny way of saying, not so fast.

A good friend was in the midst of having a self-published book edited by a woman who worked with a variety of authors and during one of their conversations, my friend mentioned that she lived around Spruce Pine, to which Nan replied that she had worked on a Kensington book written by a gal in Spruce Pine. Nan asked friend if she knew me, friend confirmed she knew me well, and the rest is history.  I reached out to Nan to say, well, isn’t it a small world? And from there, I found out that she is a wonderful novelist in her own right, having written a slew of books that have received high praise and many accolades over the years.

But, as if that wasn’t enough, Nan did more than write her own novels while editing others, she was also part of a blog group called WordWranglers, (https://wordwranglers.blogspot.com) that was made up of 6 women writers.  Fortunately for me, one of them needed to move on, and, much to my delight, Nan thought that my voice might be the perfect fit for the group.  As Paul Harvey used to say at the end of every radio broadcast, “…and that’s the rest of the story.”

It has been a pleasure getting to know Nan over these past couple of years, and, if you aren’t already well acquainted with her, you should be.  So, without further adieu, here are several exciting excerpts from some of Nan’s books.

Happy reading, everyone!

Biography:

Nan Reinhardt is a USA Today bestselling author of romantic fiction for Tule Publishing. Her day job is working as a freelance copyeditor and proofreader, however, writing is Nan’s first and most enduring passion. She can’t remember a time in her life when she wasn’t writing—she wrote her first romance novel at the age of ten and is still writing, but now from the viewpoint of a wiser, slightly rumpled, post-menopausal woman. Nan lives in the Midwest with her husband of 47 years, where they split their time between a house in the city and a cottage on a lake.
